Mike Terrien- Head Guide/Owner
Whether I’m on the water or at the vice tying, my thoughts don’t leave fly fishing for more than a few moments. I have been very fortunate to have learned from some of Vermonts finest. Some notable anglers include one of River Drifts Vermont guides, Jon Brooks. Jon taught me a lot about trout fishing and even more about Steelhead! The warm water fishing opportunities I was shown early on were very important as well. A big tip of the cap goes to Highgate VT’s Ken Capsey for all the warm water support. Ken taught me most of what I know about Northern Pike and Muskellunge. Its my pleasure to pay it forward to the next person who starts their journey into the fly fishing community.
Fly fishing saved my life and I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to share my passion and experience with others. Nothing is more satisfying than guiding someone to their first fish on a fly rod! Or guiding an experienced angler to a new species or a personal best fish. I do my best to prepare for every trip I lead. From tying flies for upcoming trips to exploring new water to bring people on, my goal is to give you a fun and exciting day on the water. As you are throwing line to catch your dream fish, I provide a safe, comfortable, friendly and educational experience…one fish at a time!! ~MT

Jon Zukowski-Vermont Fly Fishing Guide
This is in honor of my good friend Jonny Z. We lost Jonny tragically on April 6th 2022. Jon was taken by the Connecticut River on his favorite piece of water. Doing what he loved best. Jon was a fantatic friend of mine and a great community member in Lincoln, NH. His knowledege of fly fishing and local fisheries were an inspiration to everyone he came into contact with. Everyone loved and respected Jonny. His passion for the outdoors was electric and contagious. Most of my favorite days on the water were with Jon. He packed a gigantic punch in just 31 years of life. He lives on in our hearts and memories. Rest Easy Dangler. ~Tranch
